Prescription medications and refills written by volunteer Clinic physicians are provided to eligible patients without charge. Though a fairly comprehensive formulary is generally in inventory, it may be necessary to provide a generic alternative or therapeutic equivalent medication.
The Clinic provides diagnosis and treatment for most acute and chronic illnesses. However, we cannot provide:
- Narcotics or controlled substances
- Medications prescribed by a private doctor or by the hospital or Emergency Room
- Medications or treatment for mental illnesses or psychiatric disorders
Patients are encouraged to make a financial donation at the clinic pharmacy to help offset the Clinic's cost of providing medications.
